Fall in Mansfield (pic)

Why, yes it is fall here in New England. How could you tell?

wow. too beautiful. Here is a stanza sent to me by a friend today after our northern indiana trees started changing this week:

Roots longing to cling to earth
While branches are raised to Heaven:
Falling through the leaving's transfigured splendor,
All is kept in gravitation toward loving's moment of surrender.

I could ask him who wrote it -- maybe Billy Collins? -- but the anonymity makes it float through the air and just be Truth.

Okay, that poem is many times more beautiful than this picture. Thanks for sharing it.

I'm hoping this fall to get a picture nice enough to make it to the Carozza gallery!
