Sex and Christianity: The Series

On Monday I start a new series on Sex and Christianity. Rather than give practical advice (on either), I will present data from various sources on Christians sexual behavior. Do Christians have more extra-marital affairs? Look at more pornography? How often do married Christians have sex with their spouse?

Yeah baby... what a topic.

it's late and i just finished adding your name to a new list I created: BLOGWORTHY CONTENT! i'm in hysterical laughter here right now...something just told me to come over here to your blog and have a peak at what you've posted-when i saw Martin Short, wow, a Canuk!! -you're really going to stir up a discussion!
Question: are you going to use our answers as part of the data from "various sources"? and how about Christian singles? or is this just a survey for married Christians?

Enquiring minds want to know.

do the words "underreporting bias" mean anything to you?

Sarah, I'll be using data that contains information about both married and unmarried Christians. Typically they are nationwide surveys.

Andy, I'm care to use data that doesn't have any bias. Why, what have you been using all this time to get that fancy job of yours?

My latest statistical analysis shows that you have at more than doubled your comments for this post over all recent posts going all the way back to your "adventures in cluelessness." Am I using the correct statistical tool? What assumptions am I making? What does this say about your blog readers?

Yes, I noticed that too. This suggests that

1) Sex sells

2) The promise of my future blog posts are better than the reality of my current posts. :-)

I knew this post would get all this attention, but really, don't you thinque it's Martin Short that's drawing in the feedback *smile*...did you know that he was a sociology major @ McMaster Univ. (Hamilton Canada)?

Do you mean Mike Myers? (Who I think is Canadian).

SARA said...

Yes , both are Canadian/comedians and i get them confused...Short went to McMast/soc....not sure about Meyers...you sure can tell i'm not into tv/movies-it's that sheltered Catholic upbringing! laughing here..have a good weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather!
