From David Weakliem, here's a site that gives a movie style rating to blogs.
Sadly, my blog is a solid NC-17. This sort of isn't what I was aiming for when I started blogging.
Some other blog ratings, from my blog roll:
Stone Parliament - G
Chris Uggen - R
Michael Kruse - R
Ray Fowler - PG
Dan Myers - G (Come on Dan, you're not trying)

Joe Paskewich - NC-17 (another one!)
Joyce Kendrick - PG (with the right link this time!)
Corey Colyer - no rating given. (Maybe one of those foreign blogs with subtitles?)
Ann Althouse - NC-17 (maybe due to provocative picture of plants?)
St. Paul's Church - G (I have no idea how Ben did it)
Tom Volscho - G (?)

I got a PG rating. Parents, look out!!
Actually, I tried this site last week, and my blog got an R-rating then. That was because I still had an article referencing homosexuality and gay marriage on my front page. I guess as soon as it slipped into the archives, I slipped back to a PG-rating.
Well, if you're Presbyterian like I am (PCUSA) and you write about what Presbyterians talk about, you are going to talk about sex. It is our favorite topic to debate. I don't think you can write about the PCUSA without having at least an R rating. *grin*
hahahaha.
Good thing I took down the joke about the ducks, duct tape, and Bill Clinton.
Very Interesting...our Canadian ratings are bit different from the US.
We don't have an N/C category
Here's what we have:
G
PG
14A (persons younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult)
18A (persons younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
R ( you must be over 18 or over)

Canadian ratings are a little bit more strict than US guidelines.
I guess I should start posting about my sex life on my own blog, instead of on yours!
Sects, sects, sects -- that's all you
Christians blog about.
Casey... what happened? Did blogging do this to you?
Ray... glad to see things are cleaning up at rayfowler.org
Michael... crazy Presbyterians!
John... please tell.
Sarah... hm-m-m-m, I'm starting to think that Canadians are more different than I had thought.
Sarah II... LOL
Jay... I really liked your original (now deleted) comment with the follow-up pun! Heck, I got an NC-17 rating... no need to delete.
thanks for the heads-up, old friend.
i try to maintain a pg-rated blog, so i re-ran my page from the link and verified my "R." why? i mention "death," "cocaine," and "murder," albeit disapprovingly. rest assured that i'm anti-death, anti-cocaine, and (usually) anti-murder.
I think that being department head would make anyone pro-murder, at least occasionally.
