Here's a map of the percentage of Europeans who believe in a God, and it's becoming unclear why people charactertize Christianity as a European religion.
When I was in Russia and I would ask people if they believed in God, a fairly common response was no, they didn't believe in God because the cosmonauts went into space and did not see Him.
I even have a piece of propoganda to that effect, somewhere in my room at Pop's house.

Yes, this map clearly shows otherwise...could it be the "time factor" Possibly people are still in the mindset of Europe 200 years ago.
