The all-purpose wedding shop
When Cathy and I were back in Madison, it was nice to visit some of the sites of our early years together, including this store where we did all of our wedding shopping.

Geez! How old is this picture, or should I make a road trip to Madison to buy my gas?
Okay, you noticed... it's actually an old picture, and not even from Madison, it's a general store in Maine.
Funny thing: A friend here at UConn just told me that she bought her prom dress there.
This is hilarious!
GUNS? did I read that correctly? We (Canadians) sure don't see signs advertising guns up here.
hilarious because "shot gun " weddings and beer....nothing funny about guns...
With a name like Hussey's, the bride must be easy.
Funny, about both shotgun weddings and the name.
Guns are everywhere down here in the states... you can buy them at some grocery markets (e.g., Walmart).
Obviously your wife doesn't read your blog :)
How right you are Paula!
Man, for a second I could have sworn I saw that sign during a recent visit to my family in Crawford, TX...
Steve... I can only hope that you didn't do your wedding shopping there. I don't think Kelly would have put up with it.
