Are you sure these are daffodils and not some other kind of narcissus? Here's why I know to ask: I went (almost willingly) to the NY Botanical Garden a couple of weeks ago, and there was a path that wound along past one flower bed after another, and I kept saying how nice the daffodils and jonquils looked, but the signs identified them as this or that variety of narcissus. And you wouldn't believe how many varieties there are, or how similar -- no, identical -- they look to the untrained eye (i.e., mine).

They're not tulips, so they must be daffodils. :-)
