i'm not sure which is worse, no windows, brick wall windows (what i have at home), or tantalizing windows that don't add any view at all see here and here. The even sadder part about it is i am actually a full floor above ground (on the 5th floor - it's NYC, don't ask), so i could have a "real" window. It feels like my office is making fun of me every day i walk in.

Not as bad as a brick wall.
I have a nice orchard behind my office at church. It beats as a brick wall!

My office has no windows.
Which is why I try and work from home as often as possible. No office there--I just sit on the couch with my laptop and my books spread everywhere.
Well, Patty, you'll need to take a picture of your office wall!
