I admit, having one of his staff whack him in the back with a chair is a little over the top, but it made me see a little of the sacrifice Jesus made for us in His crucifixion.

Also, this may be the only way to reach some of the people he is trying to reach.

His methodology may not be for everyone, but I think theologically, he is right on.

My thoughts for what they are worth. . .Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37421406.post-7542621519362769922008-02-09T18:23:00.000-05:002008-02-09T18:23:00.000-05:00John, that's really funny.Jay, I bet you're right ...John, that's really funny.

Jay, I bet you're right that any changes brought about by this type of ministry might be relatively short-lived.Brad Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07800309833079635465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37421406.post-85337472560711454442008-02-09T16:25:00.000-05:002008-02-09T16:25:00.000-05:00It might be useful to distinguish short-term and l...It might be useful to distinguish short-term and long-term effects.
This guy reminds me of Scared Straight. Kids who went through the program said they were scared, and they said that they'd go straight. But the early research showed that a matched sample of kids who did not go through the program had lower recidivism rates.Jay Livingstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06652075579940313964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37421406.post-53614152309943876132008-02-09T02:34:00.000-05:002008-02-09T02:34:00.000-05:00DROP AND GIVE ME 20 HAIL MARIES, SON OF ADAM!DROP AND GIVE ME 20 HAIL MARIES, SON OF ADAM!Knumbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11125270543075582125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37421406.post-72246160919237260632008-02-08T16:25:00.000-05:002008-02-08T16:25:00.000-05:00I hadn't thought about that. I'd be curious what others thing.Ben D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07514101493778935878noreply@blogger.com
