I found this article to be an interesting (if monumentally open-ended) discussion of how Jews struggle to apply God's word to their lives today.
Here's a great post on the subject from a Christian perspective:
http://stufffchristianslike.blogspot.com/2008/07/are-tattoos-sinful.htmlAdrienne Williamshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16204757243502371050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37421406.post-85174747287948042142008-07-25T20:03:00.000-04:002008-07-25T20:03:00.000-04:00if God's Word say's Dont do it, Dont do it! In other words, God says no, but you say yes and you are going to do it, and you are going to have your way no matter what. thats just a spoiled kid throwing a tantrum but because they are "adults" they rationalize it away with "JEwish Symbols" to make it right. all it is is out and out defiance of the One true and living and Holy, Holy, Holy God. It is called DISOBIEDIENCE, you know that archaic term that is the opposite of OBIEDIENCE.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
