Well, in SoCal, I had several long talks with my brother. In one of them, I told him various things about our lives and family and typical brother stuff.... In return, he said something along the lines of "dude, get a haircut." When even your brother tells you to do it, it's time. So I did: Just about all of it. I went from shoulder length hair to trimmed sides and looking just like everyone else. Sigh... At least I don't have to act respectable.
Could you have your brother call my teenage sons? :)

There went your street cred as a prof. (I should talk, I'm pretty clean cut, but as a red head in Africa, I'm already way out there. Plus it's even a little radical to wear jeans as a grad student here.;-) When do we get to see before and after pictures.

ReplyDeleteAs far as my brother's picture, that's him dressed up like a blonde bombshell driving his convertible around. Not sure how often he does that. ;-) (I think it was for a costume party).
As for a picture of me, truly I'm not very photogenic, and documenting changes in my looks feels like a waste of computer resources.
